Back home. What a surreal experience. I wonder how useful this tribe may be in finding the people I met at AMF this year? I didn't really exchange contact information with anyone at the festival.

Re: That was awesome.
Tue, July 3, 2007 - 10:58 PMYou were camping with Alan , right ?
Lots of people from AMF on here.
There was definetly some awesome
music this year. Unit 6 was my favorite new
camp, just around the corner from where
I was set up. It was good to see a lot of ol
friends who I hadn't seen in over a year and
meet some cool new mutants.
The lack of cops and rangers was most refreshing
compared to WA.

Re: That was awesome.
Wed, July 4, 2007 - 2:56 AMIt was grand seeing you out at amf! Did you end up seeing/doing any fire? I got caught up in some confusion and was taken away to drink some fine aged green tea off somewhere in the woods and missed any fire that may have happened that evening. I hope all is well and btw we are having spin jam this week even though its the 4th and you should come if you are not otherwise engaged.

Re: That was awesome.
Thu, July 5, 2007 - 9:26 PMI think this was the best Mutant Festival in four years - at least. We even partied on after all the fire restrictions went into effect.... I think I had actually had the most fun the night of July 2nd. I just hope somebody pays attention to fire danger in scouting the sites next year, but other than that, this year went off really well. -

Re: That was awesome.
Sun, July 8, 2007 - 11:12 PMPaying attention to fire danger is a no brainer one would think but some arsehole on late Monday morn fired off a Bottle Rocket !
When I heard that exploding in the sky, in such a dry forest, I felt that mutant human should be given the " Idiot Award " for such careless
behavior. I LOVE pyros but not in DRY pine tree covered woods !
One of my favorite events was the preformance by Fauna at Katabatik, real ritual Black Metal ! Those guys look like ZZ TOP in corpse paint !
Wolves in the Throne Room were robbed as evil overwhelmed the sound system ! The evil Egyptian Ritual ( by Scott ) as a precursor for the evening served well the light of the Moon ( Khonsu )...AB:. RA:. HAD:. AB:. RA:.
